This ‘Walton Range’ promotion and competition is offered by Australian Comfort Group Pty Limited (the promoter). By entering the promotion, you (the “entrant”) acknowledge your participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
This promotion is applicable only to Australian residents who purchase a mattress from the SleepMaker Walton range at participating Australian Harvey Norman stores, either instore or online.
You must be an Australian resident aged at least 18 living in Australia who is not (a) an employee or immediate family member of an employee of the promoter or agencies associated with the promotion.
At the conclusion of the promotional period, 6 prize winners (one winner in NSW/ACT, one winner in QLD, one winner in VIC, one winner in WA, one winner in TAS and one winner in SA/NT) will be randomly selected. Once the promotional period has concluded the promoter will notify the winners and will deliver the prize within 30 days of that notification (the winner must if requested respond to the notification to confirm receipt of the email).
This promotional period starts on 1 December, 2022 and finishes on 31 January, 2023 but if for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.Maximum Number of Entries: A maximum of 1 entry per person is permitted, winners will be randomly drawn.
To be eligible for a chance to win, you must complete the following steps during the promotional period.
I. You must purchase your mattress from the Sleepmaker Walton range at any participating Australian Harvey Norman store, either instore or online between 1 December, 2022 and 31 January 2023.
II. You must register your SleepMaker Walton mattress on the SleepMaker website between 1 December, 2022 and 12 February, 2023.
III. You must:
• Upload Proof of Purchase (Tax Invoice)
• Provide Mattress Size
• Mattress model name
• Delivery Address
• Name /Email/Phone
• Date of purchase
• Purchase place
Prize details
i. Prize draw winners will win one of 6 Harvey Norman gift cards to the value of $1,000 each.
ii. Total of 6 prizes are available. Each prize has a maximum value $1,000, total prize pool is $6,000 (One prize is available in NSW/ACT, one prize is available in QLD, one prize is available in VIC, one prize is available in WA, one prize is available in TAS and one prize is available in SA/NT).
iii. Prize Draw will take place at 12 pm on 16 February, 2023 at 447 Foleys Road, Deer Park VIC 3023.
iv. Prize winner will be notified via email on 17 February, 2023 and winner(s) details (last name, first initial and postcode) will be published within 30 days of the drawing.
v. If a prize is not claimed 2 weeks after notification, second chance draw will take place at 12 pm on 28 February 2023 at 447 Foleys Road, Deer Park VIC 3023.
vi. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw is to be notified in writing within 7 days of the draw and their details (last name, first initial and postcode) will be published within 30 days of the unclaimed prize drawing.
The promoter reserves the right to:
(a) terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation, if for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter.
(b) substitute the prize or part of the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotion is your responsibility including telecommunications and internet service provider charges
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law the promoter including its officers, employees and agents excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to:
(c) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the promoter’s control);
(d) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(e) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by the promoter);
(f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
(g) from use of the prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under Australian Consumer Law.
By entering this promotion, entrants agree to receive marketing and general information from the promoter.
If the promoter does not enforce any of its rights under these terms and conditions at any stage this does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
These terms and conditions are governed by the exclusive laws of Australia and come under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
